A young firm carrying decades of combined experience.
HERE Consulting was founded in late 2024, but our founders bring decades of combined experience in public health research and evaluation across federal agencies, hospitals, universities, the military, and community organizations. Here is the track record we draw on.
The work behind the firm.
Before founding HERE Consulting, our principals led research, evaluation, and funding efforts at organizations across the public health landscape. A sample of that experience:
Federal & military program evaluation
Leading mixed-methods evaluations of policy interventions, including alcohol-sales restrictions and tobacco-free-living policies for the U.S. Army, and managing evaluation projects across programs at the Health Resources and Services Administration.
Securing and stewarding grant funds
Procuring millions in federal and foundation funding for public health work, including more than $2.5 million for a municipal health department and multi-year federal awards for adolescent health initiatives.
Community-based participatory studies
Co-producing qualitative research with communities on topics from gun violence prevention to environmental health, using ethnography, interviews, focus groups, and photovoice to surface community assets and needs.
Sexual & reproductive health programs
Designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based pregnancy- and STI-prevention programs across schools, clinics, and community organizations, including a mobile-application intervention to reduce sexual risk behaviors.
What we are equipped to do.
• Study & evaluation design — logic models, theories of change, and designs matched to your questions and resources.
• Mixed-methods data collection — surveys, interviews, focus groups, and observation, designed for the population at hand.
• Quantitative & qualitative analysis — rigorous analysis that holds up to scrutiny and stays readable to non-researchers.
• Community engagement — advisory structures and participatory methods that share power with communities.
• Funder & grant reporting — deliverables shaped to meet funder requirements without losing the human story.
• Dissemination & translation — findings turned into briefs, presentations, and tools that drive real decisions.
